The unexpected high demand have lead to shortages to the Galaxy S6 Edge smartphone supplies which was released several months ago.
The factory has began its operation which should bring production to 5 million curved-displays per month, according to the GSM Arena.
The increase in very significant compared to the previous 2 million units monthly output and should help the company meet the anticipated sale of 70 million Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge devices.
The new factory was initially planned to open in June, but with the surge in market demand made Samsung ahead of schedule.
